Hello, I'm Marnie Fulton and I specialize in providing child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy for those with automimmune and other chronic or potential life-limiting illness. I also provide partner and parent supportive psychotherapy, health coaching and one-time consulation services via telephone or video. I maintain a private practice in Atlanta/Dunwoody, GA.
With over 20 years experience as a psychotherapist, and as a graduate of Oglethorpe Univeristy for undergraduate work in social sciences and University of Georgia for graduate work in clinical social work and psychology, I'm currently serving as a private practitioner working with clients of all ages with authoimmune illness as well as other chronic and potential life-limiting illnesses. I have experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings in community and private sectors.
In addition to being a known health psychotherapist and coach, I've presented at many local, regional and national conferences on topics such as: Ethics, Medical Psychotherapy Practice, Autoimmune and Chronic Illness and Therapy Practices, Hospice 101 and Substance Abuse.
I'm an interactive, solution-focused psychotherapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address the life challenges posed by living with illness. I do integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer
a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. I also provide partner and parent psychotherapy services. My coaching practice is goal focused, time limited and focuses on health goals attainment.
