With over 27 years experience as a psychotherapist, and as a graduate of Oglethorpe Univeristy for undergraduate work in social sciences and University of Georgia for graduate work in clinical social work and psychology, I'm currently serving as a private practitioner working with clients of all ages.
In addition to being a known health psychotherapist and supervisor, I've presented at many local, regional and national conferences on topics such as: Ethics, Medical Psychotherapy Practice, Addiction, Autoimmune and Chronic Illness and Therapy Practices and Hospice.
I'm an interactive, solution-focused psychotherapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical, interactive feedback to help clients effectively address the life challenges posed by living with illness or facing challenges with work, relationships, depression, anxiety, school or addiction. I do integrate complementary methodologies with traditional, evidence based techniques and utilize a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. I also provide partner and parent psychotherapy services.
